Icelandic Sheepskin Rug Natural Grey
A beautiful natural grey long-haired Icelandic rug. Each rug is unique and markings shown in the sample are reflective of markings in general on these rugs.
Natural grey undyed Icelandic rugs are not as common as other rugs with soft natural light grey through to darker grey tones.
Each rug is usually between 90 and 100cm in length (including fur) by 70cm*
*Sheepskin rugs are measured from the fur side of the rug. The dimensions are approximate and can vary from rug to rug.
Our rugs are tanned with the environment in mind, meaning no chrome is used, so they’re not machine washable. Naturally dirt and bacteria resistant thanks to the lanolin in the wool, most just need a brush with a slicker dog brush and an air on the line. To freshen them up further, a little dry shampoo works wonders, spray, let it dry, then brush out. It’s easier to keep on top of them than to catch up later, so try not to let them go too far with out giving them a brush. For dyed rugs, avoid strong, direct sunlight to reduce fading—UV fabric spray won’t stop colour change but can help slow it down.
